I first thought these ads were for a super hold hair spray, but instead this Protective Beach Spray prevents color oxidation, preserves hair shine and Provides a U.V. filter for your hair - a very unique and difficult product benefit to show off. In the wrong hands this concept would have flopped bad. But with some master photo trickery these ads really pop and come off actually looking cool.

Yes, it’s lovely to have a mass of dead material hanging from your head. And once you know that hair is extra-cellular and you understand that it’s never been alive - ever - you can safely stop trying to give it ‘nutrients’.
You might just as well feed a brick.
