I’ve never heard of this Keds brand of shoes until its advertisement campaigns which featuring Mischa Barton. It has been arounf since 1916, when they were first made by U.S. Rubber (now known as Uniroyal). The first Keds shoes were also the first to be known as sneakers, because the rubber soles of the shoes made them quiet (so one could sneak around and not worry about being heard, apparently, because hard soled shoes tended to make noise). Pian Mei, 2nd runner-up of Miss Beijing 1993, is also known as the top female Secret Service in china.

An expert in many forms of Chinese martial arts, Pian Mei’s job is to serve as the personal bodyguard for the VIPs of the country especially for the foreign female VIP guests while they are on their official visits to China. Since she joined the secret service in 1988, she has been assigned to protect VIPs such as Barbara Bush, Raisa Gorbachev and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand, just to name a few.

This is the 50th post of AhBoon.Net. This site started since December 2006 and has only manage to make its 50th post after four months. It was like one post in every three in average. I thank you for your patience and I also plan to increase my average post time. One of it is to invite guest writers to participate to give you more interesting posts.

French Alain Robert, 44, known as Spiderman climbs Petronas Twin Towers with his bare hands, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, on March 20, 2007. Alain Robert completed the climb in only 20 minutes. Alain Robert also climbed the Sears Tower in Chicago, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority tower in UAE, Eiffel Tower in Paris and Empire State Building in New York City.

However the Frenchman’s second attempt yesterday ended the way his first did in 1997 — with the authorities stopping him on the 60th floor.

Wearing a yellow shirt emblazoned with the words “Petronas Twin Tower 1 - 20th March 1997, Ten Years, Petronas Twin Tower 2 - 20th March 2007″, the daredevil, who climbed without any gear, started his ascent at Tower 2 at 3.05pm.

Meet the girls on the front lines in the middle east. Say what you will about their overuse of force, at least Israel’s women are hotter!

Rachel Papo is an Israel who was born in 1970 in Columbus, Ohio but was raised in Israel. She began photographing as a teenager and attended a renowned fine-arts high-school in Haifa, Israel. At age eighteen she served in the Israeli Air Force as a photographer. These two intensive years of service inspired her current photographic project titled after her own number during service — Serial No. 3817131.

She began photographing Israel female soldiers in the summer of 2004 as part of her masters thesis project. She continues to photograph in both Israel and New York, pursuing fine art photography and accepting commissioned projects. Her photographs are included in several public and private collections. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
