Yoshida - Japanese biggest floating crane
.
I’m not sure if this is Japan’s largest floating crane or if it’s the biggest in the world, but either way, it’s huge!
iEarly in the morning it arrives at the city dock to begin the bridge construction for the man-made island in Kagoshima bay. Boom length: 132m. Lifting capacity: 3700 tons!
It’s “Yoshida” - Japanese biggest floating crane, built by Mitsubishi heavy Industries Division.
Each hook is 10 meters tall. The workers around it look as small as ants.
Some 800 steps lead to the tip of the boom, to the small cabin on the top.

The Story of BMW
BMW (Bavarian Motor Works), is an independent German company and manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles. BMW is the parent company of the MINI and Rolls-Royce car brands, and formerly, Rover. The company’s tagline in English is currently “The Ultimate Driving Machine”. The original German slogan is “Freude am Fahren”, which translates to “Joy in Driving” in English.
Founded 1913 by Karl Friedrich Rapp, originally as an aircraft engine manufacturer. Then in 1923 BMW built its first model motorcycle, the R32. BMW bought the Dixi Company in 1928, and this became the company’s first car, the BMW 3/15. By 1933 BMW were producing cars that could be called truly theirs, offering steadily more advanced I6 sports and saloons (sedans).
Here are some of the classic BMW that we rarely seen on the road.

USS Lego
A new ship is set to join the US Navy. The aircraft carrier Harry S Truman. No, not the aircraft carrier that joined the fleet in 1998. The all new, improved and miniaturized Harry S Truman. Oh, and it happens to be built entirely out of Lego blocks.
USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) is the eighth and the last Nimitz-class supercarrier of the United States Navy, named in honor of Harry S. Truman (1884-1972), thirty- third President of the United States. This pic on the right is the real Aircraft Carrier Harry S Truman.

.
Mig 21F the USSR Military Aircraft is now for sale on e-Bay, the bid ended on Jan-15-07 and a guy called Nizzex won the bid with US $26,600.00. I really wonder how he is going to do with that thing.

•The MiG-21F is a short-range day fighter-interceptor and the first major production version of the popular MiG-21 series. It is but one of many versions of this aircraft that have served in the air arms of many nations around the world. The E-5 prototype of the MiG-21 was first flown in 1955 and made its first public appearance during the Soviet Aviation Day display at Moscow’s Tushino Airport in June 1956. During the Vietnam War, MiG-21s were often used against U.S. aircraft. Between April 26, 165, and January 8, 1973, USAF F-4s and B-52s downed 68 MiG-21s. More than 30 countries of the world-including nations friendly to the U.S. -have flown the MiG-21. At least 15 versions of the MiG-21 have been produced, some outside the Soviet Union. Estimates place the number built at more than 8,000, a production total exceeding that of any other modern jet aircraft.

Games Coming Soon in 2007
This is a good game sneak preview from PCGamer. Below is a comprehensive list of all(at least I think so)promising PCgames slated for 2007 release.By “promising” I mean games with big chances of scoring at least AA, while extremely small chances of scoring below 7. I’ve tried choosing only games made by experienced developers(who made good games in the past) or for other reasons promising.
There are too many of them, I just pick a few from each category which I like it personally, and added the preview links. For the Full game list, please visit [GameSpot Forums].

Space Shuttle of USSR - Buran
The Russian Shuttle Buran (”Snowstorm” in Russian) was authorized in 1976 in response to the United States’ Space Shuttle program. Building of the shuttles began in 1980, with the first full-scale Aero-Buran rolling out in 1984.
The first suborbital test flight of a scale model of Buran took place in July 1983. There were five additional flights of the scale model in following years.
The first and only orbital launch of the shuttle Buran was at 3:00 GMT on November 15, 1988. The flight was unmanned, as the life support system had not been checked out and the CRT displays had no software installed
The vehicle was launched on the powerful Energiya booster into an 247 by 256 km orbit at 51.6 degrees inclination. The Buran orbited the Earth twice before firing its thrusters for reentry. The flight ended at 6:25 GMT when the vehicle touched down at Tyuratum. The Buran 1 mission was limited to 2 orbits due to computer memory limitations.
